Designing for the social good

In March 2014 the Imagineering Academy got a chance to visit the United States of America during their annual fieldtrip. In a most inspiring two weeks students, alumni and professors worked on the topic of social change. More specifically on the assignment of designing a glocally applicable artifact that inspires people from local to global communities for the better. During their expedition companies such as Google, Chevron and InnovationPoint were visited. In addition workshops by the Dominican University of Chicago, California Institute for Integral Studies and California State University were attended to learn about social change.
